Over the ship-wide announcing system the captain announced, "all hands make
preparations for pulling pierside." A soft chuckled rang out, "and all
hands on exposed surfaces of the ship, make sure you are wearing clothing to
eliminate the possibility of being seen by any wandering children.
Thank you."
I stirred, what was
that sound? I listened for the sound to return. I felt the ship
shudder as the engines spun slowly. The ship shook slightly.
Three minutes past with me lying there silently, my eyes half-closed; my
mind a hazy cloud; poised on the cusp of consciousness and sleep. Ten
minutes later another announcement rang out, "the ship is docked."
I sat up, we were
pierside. Price raised his head and looked at me, his tail thumping
slowly against the carpeting. He tilted his head as if to say, "gonna
walk me, huh, are you? Please." I could almost hear the word 'please'
spoken as to drag the word out for ten seconds. "Pleeeeeeeeaaaasssssssseeeeee."
I had to chuckle softly. I stood up and made my way to the bathroom.
I was like Prince in one respect, it seemed. I flushed and dropped the
toilet seat back down; back where it belonged.
I emerged from the bathroom. Prince was sitting
by the door, eyeing me, still begging with his eyes. "Let's go,
boy," I said.
Price wagged his
tail.
I opened the door
and Prince bounded from the room. The exuberance of a puppy evident
in his gait. I followed him as he made his way down the hall and up
the stairs. I passed a man wearing shorts and he stopped me, "sir?"
he asked.
"Yes?" I was not
expecting to see anybody wearing clothes in the depths of the ship.
"Didn't you hear
the announcement? We are pierside and the captain has instructed us
to wear clothing. It allows people from the shore to visit without
the discomfort of being around naked people and if any kids are present,
it protects them."
It made sense, I
had not even thought about it. "Thank you."
"I'll walk the
dog and bring him back to you."
Again, "thank
you." With that, I turned and made my way back our stateroom.
Collette was sitting up, rubbing her eyes
when I entered. "Morning."
"Good morning," I
smiled. "We are pierside. I was just stopped on my way topside to
walk Prince when I was stopped and advised to don some clothes." I
shrugged, "I hadn't thought that we'd be seen by anybody wandering the
docks."
Collette giggled,
"good point." She looked at the alarm clock by the bed, "we slept
well," she stated. "I thought we'd be awake to watch the ship being
tied off."
"We did get in
pretty late."
"Yes," she
acknowledged. "I'm going to shower. Go make sure Travis and
Melinda are up."
"Yes, mistress,"
I said. As I wouldn't pass any exposed parts of the ship, I
immediately turned and left the room as Collette climbed from the bed and
padded into the master bath.
I made my way to the stateroom that Travis and Melinda
had been given. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer.
Thirty seconds passed before I knocked again. "Hello?" I asked,
"anybody up?"
I heard a thump
behind the door. A fem moments passed and finally the door swung
open. Travis was rubbing his eyes, his dark hair unkempt. He
groaned a "bonjour," and then yawned, his hand covering his mouth.
I pointed towards
the shore and shook my head up and down. I didn't speak French and
Travis did not speak English, but I got my point across. "Oui," he
said. He held up ten fingers, closed them and held up ten more.
I understood and
nodded.
Travis shut the
door and I returned to my stateroom. Collette was in the shower and I
made my way into the bathroom. I spoke loudly, making sure I was
heard of the falling water, "they were asleep," I informed Collette.
"Travis indicated they'd be ready in twenty minutes."
"Good," Collette said
as she washed her hair. "I'll be right out and then you can shower."
"Okay."
Collette finished bathing and emerged from
the shower. "Your turn," she said.
I climbed into
the shower, the hot water washing over me. Showers were wonderful
things and I felt fully awake as I finished washing my hair. I
climbed from the shower and returned to the bedroom. Collette was
dressed in a light floral dress and as she spun around, she showed me that
she was not wearing panties. "I'll have fun later," she said with a
grin.
I had to agree.
I dressed in a pair of khaki shorts and a white golf shirt. Collette had
set the clothes out for me. I imagined how it must be to be in the
military. Every day you knew what you were going to wear; nothing
ever changing. It was kind of like that when Collette set out clothes
for me to wear. I had to admit, if only to myself, that I liked it.
I combed my hair as Collette curled hers. Collette dabbed a small amount of
makeup on her gentle face and then asked if I was ready.
I nodded.
"Good," she
smiled. "Let's go get Travis and Melinda and Prince."
Collette and I made our way to the cabin
that Melinda and Travis shared. They were dressed as Travis had
promised and together the four of us made our way to the pool deck.
Prince stood there wagging his tail with his mouth open in a doggy grin
that said, "it's about time!" He barked once and ran to Collette's side.
He circled her body twice, barked again, and then sat down next to her
with his tail wagging happily.
"Ready to go,
boy?"
A lone bark of
agreement.
With that Collette
said, "We're off." We made our way to the aft end of the ship,
Prince keeping pace and dancing happily; ready for an adventure. A
large metal gangplank had been set up to allow the crew to leave the
ship and return at the end of the day. We left the ship and made our
way away from the boat and further into the island.
Melinda spoke to
Collette and Collette replied.
Collette looked at me
and said, "Melinda is just wondering what we're going to do today?"
"That's a good
question. What do you have plColletted?"
"I figure that we can start with breakfast and then
head down to the beach." She smiled, "I love the beach and I bet
Prince will have fun frolicking in the waves."
Hearing her
mention food I realized how hungry I was, "sounds good to me." I smiled
back at her. Like there was any doubt that whatever she came up with
wouldn't sound good to me. Whatever Collette wanted is what I wanted;
her happiness was paramount.
She led us along
the beach. We walked on a sidewalk with small shops selling towels
and bikinis, suntan lotion and cold beverages. The beaches of Tahiti
was a well traveled tourist destination and the shops along the beach
proved that fact. Young men and women speaking both French and
English. Hearing the locals speaking French made me wonder if
perhaps that was one of the reasons Collette had selected Tahiti, thinking
that Melinda and Travis would feel more comfortable with the locals
speaking their language.
Prince kept pace,
sniffing anything he could and marking his territory frequently. We
had a leash with us, but currently he was unleashed. If he became
unruly we could tether him, but currently he was being very well behaved
and so he had some freedom.
She led us to a small hole-in-the-wall
restaurant. The smells that drifted to us were heavenly and my
stomach grumbled in appreciation. Prince barked once and then spun a
lazy pirouette as the smells tantalized him. He panted and then
barked once more. Collette turned and we stopped outside the restaurant.
Small white, plastic tables were set in a recessed alcove with plastic
chairs surrounding the tables. Green plants were hanging from
umbrellas that were covering the tables. We took a seat at one of
the tables with Prince dropping down to lay between Collette and I.
A young boy, no
more than twelve came out and handed each of us a menu. He spoke
French and Melinda, Travis and Collette all replied in kind. I looked
confused and Collette ordered papaya juice for me as well as a glass of water.
He was there for drink orders I realized when he turned away.
We perused the
menu. I could read nothing and asked Collette if she would order for me.
She agreed, as I knew she would, and I folded my menu and set it on the
table in front of me.
The young boy
returned and delivered our drinks. He took everybody's order and then
disappeared through a maroon door that led deeper into the restaurant to
fill the order.
Off to my left the sky was the ocean;
white-capped waves crashing noisily on the beach. A dog barked which
got Prince's attention. He perked his ears up, wondering if he would
get to run with the source of that sound. His tail thumped once
against the concrete, a simple, single "please." He looked at Collette with
dark, intelligent eyes. That look spoke volumes and Collette said, "no,"
shaking her head at him.
Prince understood
and dropped his head to his paws where he shut his eyes and napped.
The waiter
returned with our breakfast. I had no idea what it was that Collette had
ordered for me, but there was definitely cheese in it and I could taste
what reminded me of curry. It was good and spicy and I thanked Collette
for ordering it for me. Collette tasted what I had and I tasted what she
had ordered, something with chickpeas and eggs. Collette liked mine
better and so we traded; anything to make her happy.
Travis and
Melinda finished their meals and we took turns sneaking food to Prince who
was definitely appreciative. We finished eating and paid the check
and finally left the restaurant; the day spread out before us, full of
opportunities.
"Where to?" I asked.
Collette smiled, "to
adventure."
I looked at her
quizzically and she smiled. "There is a cove about ten miles from
here," Collette said, still smiling. "You can swim with dolphins there
and I thought that that would be a good way to start the day." She
looked over at Melinda and reveled what she wanted to do.
Melinda perked up
and was very agreeable, nodding and clapping. She had never swam
with dolphins and had only seen them in real life as they played tag with
Collette's ship as it raced over the waves. Travis nodded, equally
interested.
Prince barked
though he didn't know why.
We hailed an orange and black taxi.
It took about ten minutes before a cab stopped that would allow Prince to
accompany us in the vehicle. He was still a puppy, but he already
had the look of the powerful animal he would become as he aged. He
was wagging his tail as he climbed into the back seat of the taxi.
The driver, a dark skinned man with long, curly hair and deep black eyes
asked, "whey to?"
"Chanupa's Cove,"
Collette said, searching her memory for the right location.
"Swim wif de
dophins?" English was not his primary language, but we were able to
understand what he wanted to say.
"Yes, Collette said,
"Swim with the dolphins."
"Good tim," the
driver said, nodding. "No busy dis tim a year. Yes, you hab
good tim."
Collette smiled at
him, enjoying his accent. He ran on and on about the island and how
we would have such a good time swimming with the dolphins. He drove
quickly, occasionally honking his horn to alert others to get out of his
way. The way he figured it, he was larger than the pedestrians and
so he had the right-of-way.
We drove along the coast, staring at
the south Pacific as it stretched out to eternity off to our left.
White-capped waves seemed to salute us as they raced towards the shore.
I was in the back with Travis and Melinda while Collette rode up front.
I spotted our ship pulled pierside and it dwarfed all the other ships
pulled pierside with the exception of a huge luxury liner. Not bad,
I thought.
We were in the
taxi for about twenty minutes when the taxi stopped. The driver
said, "here's you is. Dat'll be fit teen dollars."
I paid the man,
handing him thirty. "Keep the change, sir," I said.
"Tank you," he
said. "Anytime you needs a ride aks for Arlan."
Thinking of our
guide in Italy I asked, "how much to hire you for the day?"
I could actually
see him thinking. "Tree hunerd."
I handed him four
hundred dollar bills from my wallet and said, "here you go. Be ready
to go when we are."
"Tank you!" He
was beaming as he pocketed the cash.
The four of us made our way underneath
a wooden hut with a straw roof. Fires burned above four Tiki posts,
lighting the entrance into the building like a runway. Collette led us
into the building and approached the counter where an elderly man was busy
sweeping the floor. He looked up at his customers, smiled a
toothless smile, and said, "hello, hello. Welcome, welcome."
We had been
warned about it not being tourist season and there was not a single person
present besides the four of us and our host.
"Hello," Collette
returned his smile. "We'd like to swim...."
"...with the
dolphins," he completed her sentence. "Well, you have come to the
right place. Nobody here and the dolphins are hungry. Come,"
he said, setting the broom aside. "Follow me."
As we followed
him out the back door I wondered how many times he has said the same
spiel.
We were led past four round pools
interconnected with narrow straights. There were about three
dolphins swimming in each of the four pools. As we approached the
dolphins became interested and began squeaking a high-pitched, playful
tone. They knew why we were there and they were happy about it, or
so it seemed to me. Melinda squealed in response to them and clapped
her hands together. Our escort took us to a octagonal platform that
served as a central access point to the pools. "Stop here," he said.
We stopped.
The man pulled on a rope and revealed a live well that held fish. He
lifted a net that was hanging vertically on a post behind him and scooped
out a net full of fish. He deposited the fish, still flopping, into
a cooler and then returned his attention to us. "Okay," he said.
"Cos be fitty dolar ahead. That okay, yes, yes?" His head
jerked around, looking at all of us.
"That will be
fine," Collette said.
"Good, good.
You gots swim cloths?"
Melinda and
Travis had swim trunks under their clothes and undressed down to them.
Collette and I did not. At her command, I stripped naked. The man
eyed me suspiciously and then shrugged. Seeing his response, Collette
pulled her dress over her head and kicked off her sandals. She and I
were naked, but ready to swim.
Our host called two dolphins to his
side with a handful of fish. They chirped and poked their heads out
of the water, their mouths open. He fed them both and then directed Collette
and I to dive into the water. I jumped in, diving over the pair of
dolphins. Collette jumped in behind me. The two dolphin chirped and then
turned from the dock and swam over to us. One dolphin circled both Collette
and I while the other swam between us, chirping happily.
"Grabs on," our
host said.
I looked at Collette
and watched as she gripped the dorsal fin of the dolphin that had swam
between us. As soon as Collette grabbed the dolphin, the dolphin swam
away, pulling Collette with her. Collette laughed as she was pulled through the
water. She felt the strength of the dolphin in her hands and was
awed by it. Water washed over her smiling face. She was
laughing as the dolphin pulled her around the tank.
The second
dolphin swam to me and waited until I grabbed hold of its back.
Immediately I was taken on a ride around the pond, the two dolphins
swimming fast circles with their two riders in tow.
Collette and I continued our ride as our
host called two dolphin from the next pool with a handful of fish. They
swam to him and chirped happily. He fed them and then had Melinda
and Travis jump into the pool with them. I heard Melinda squeal in
delight as she began her first lap around the pool on the back of a
dolphin.
Travis and
Melinda and Collette and I were pulled around our tanks countless times.
When we fell off the dolphin circled us until we once again gripped their
fins. The dolphin seemed to enjoy the exercise. I grew tired
and let go and swam to the pool's edge. I climbed from the water and
the dolphin I was riding came up behind me and pushed me from the water.
The dolphin chirped as if to say, "here you go."
I climbed to my
feet and walked two steps and grabbed a handful of fish. I fed the
dolphin. The dolphin stood up on its rear fin and danced away,
chirping happily.
Collette climbed from
the water next and said, "that's tiring."
I yawned and
agreed.
Melinda giggled
as she finished riding her dolphin.
Travis tried to straddle the dolphin
that had been pulling him around the pool and slipped. He fell
sideways and hit his head on a wooden plank that made part of the dock
that Collette and I were standing on. Melinda screamed and released her
dolphin and swam to Travis' side. He was unconscious and bleeding
from a large cut on his forehead, just above his left eye. He sank
below the water as Melinda reached his side. "Travis," she screamed.
Our host
jumped into the water and helped Melinda pull Travis to the edge of the
pool where Collette and I were waiting to pull him from the water. We
lay him down on the wooden deck. I checked if he was breathing and was
happy to find that he was. Our host climbed from the water and
fetched a first-aid kit from the main building. He returned and
bandaged the ugly cut on Travis's face. "He be okay," he said.
Melinda stood
next to us, breathing heavily, her fingers clutched into tight fists.
She was mumbling under her breath and I imagined that she was praying that
he would be okay.
Travis moaned and
opened his eyes.
Melinda fell to
her knees and clutched Travis to her.
Travis moved slowly, moaning slightly
and it took him a few moments to realize that he was out of the water.
He spoke softly and Melinda replied. Collette looked at me and translated, "he
asked what happened and Melinda told him."
Melinda refused
to let go of Travis. She had seen his life flash before her eyes and
she did not like the site. She was holding him for him and she was
holding him for her and finally Travis pushed her away to struggle to his
feet. The white bandage over his eye had already turned pink.
"You go to
doctor," our host said. His voice was tight and I had to wonder if
the island nation of Tahiti was as litigious as our home nation; did our
host see a lawsuit dancing behind his eyes?
Collette nodded,
"yes, that is a good idea." She spoke to Travis and Melinda and then
turned to me, "let's go."
We left the pool
deck and made our way to the parking lot where our hire was waiting.
He climbed from the taxi and opened the door for us. "What
happened?"
"To the
hospital," Collette said, not answering his question.
"Aye."
With the four of
us inside the cab, the driver sped away.
It took three minutes for our
driver to stop the cab outside the emergency room entrance of a local
24-hour clinic. We climbed from the taxi and led Travis inside.
The emergency room was empty and we were immediately approached by a
middle-aged woman wearing light green scrubs. "What seems...." she
trailed off seeing the red splotch of gauze affixed to Travis's forehead.
She grabbed Travis by the arm and said, "this way please."
Travis was led
through a set of brown double doors. A young woman sitting behind a
desk held a clipboard up and asked, "who gets this?"
Collette took it and
said, "I'll take care of it." She turned and spoke to Melinda in
French and the two women sat down to fill out the paperwork. Collette
asked Melinda the questions she did not know the answers to and Melinda
replied. It took nearly ten minutes for the two women to fill out
the required forms. Collette had checked cash as payment method, not
knowing what the insurance requirements were for Tahiti; cash was always
easier.
Melinda paced nervously, waiting for
Travis to return from the hidden back. She walked to the double
doors that Travis had disappeared down and did not see him. She
looked at Collette and spoke agitatedly. Collette replied, trying to calm
her fears; ease her mind. There was nothing that she could say that would
make her feel better, Collette knew. She would have to have Travis back
at her side to ease her tension and make her feel better.
Twenty minutes
later Travis returned, his head freshly bandaged. The doctor came
out and told us that he had to have seven stitches and that his dressing
had to be changed twice a day for next two days.
We thanked the
doctor and paid the bill.
Melinda had her
arms wrapped around Travis, not wanting to let go of him.
He let her hang
on.
A few minutes passed and Melinda finally released
Travis. She pushed him away, looked at him with a motherly gaze and
then clutched him to her chest again. She was speaking to him; I
didn't recognize the words, but the tone was unmistakable. She was
greatly relieved and didn't want to let him leave her side again.
She was being overly protective and she didn't care.
Collette and I simply
watched Melinda soothe her nerves by hugging Travis. We were silent
and both of us were relieved that it had turned out to be a relatively
minor injury, all things considered. We were lucky.
Melinda finally
released Travis and together the four of us left the hospital. We
returned to the taxi and our driver asked, "okay? Yes, yes?"
"Yes," Collette
replied. "He will be okay. Thank you."
"Good. I worried.
Don't like be worried."
I had to agree,
"me neither."
"Where to now?" our drive asked.
Collette looked at
Prince who had stayed inside the taxi with the driver while Travis was
tended to said, "a park."
Prince barked in
agreement. He must have known we were talking about him. He
was wagging his tail and panting happily.
"Yes, ma'am."
The driver put the car in gear and drove us to a large park I didn't
see any other dogs present. The driver stopped, "good park.
Dogs allowed."
"Thank you," Collette
said.
"I wait here,
okay?"
"Yes.
Thanks."
With that, the
four of us climbed from the taxi, taking Prince with us.
Prince barked happily and bounded into
the park. I called after him and he stopped and turned to face me.
His panting face said, "what?"
I had to laugh.
Shaking my head I said, "stay close."
Prince stayed put
and waited until we caught up with him. Collette lightly rubbed his coat
and he took that as an excuse to chase the butterflies that were flying
gingerly near by. He ran after them, barking and snapping at the
delicate white butterflies. He didn't catch any and in response he
rolled on the flowers that the butterflies had been resting on. He
was content as his hips twisted on the hard dirt.
The four of us
slowly walked around the park, keeping an eye on Prince. He was following
us, keeping a distance, like a teenager forced to go anywhere with his
parents and not wanting to be seen with his parents. He was a great
puppy and he was panting happily.
We stopped for
ice cream; the four of us sitting on the grass and watching Prince when
Travis shook and fell backwards. He had passed out. The wound
on his head was bandaged nicely, but the day was turning out to be too
much for him. Melinda shrieked as Collette lightly slapped him awake.
He sat up slowly, groggily; wobbling slightly.
Collette spoke to
Melinda and Travis and then said to me, "were' going back to the ship."
I nodded in
complete agreement. I called to Prince and he stopped chasing unseen
insects and returned to our side. He was panting happily and he
looked happy. "Come along, boy," I said as the four of us with
Prince at our side, made our way back to the taxi.
Our driver was waiting dutifully. "We go now?"
"Yes. Back
to the ship please."
"Yes, yes."
He drove back to the ship. "We here."
We thanked our
driver and I asked if he would return the next day. He agreed with
relish. We watched him drive away as the four of us, with
Prince tagging along, walked along the ship to the gangplank. Collette
ordered Travis to visit our doctor to have his head checked on and Melinda
seemed in agreement and would guarantee that he was well taken care of.
It dawned on me hw well we got along with Travis and Melinda and I was
thankful that they had agreed to accompany us on our trip.
Collette and I
made our way to the master stateroom. A piece of paper was tacked
neatly to the door. Collette grabbed it and read the note.
Mistress,
I made some
phone calls and have found some people willing to take care of our caged
guests for a considerable sum of money. Let me know and I will
finalize the arrangements for you.
The
captain had signed his name in a flowing script.
Collette read the
note, reread it, and then handed it to me. "Call the captain and
have him make the arrangements."
"Yes, mistress,"
was all I said.
I crossed the room and picked up the phone. A young voice
greeted me, "yes, ma'am."
I smiled, the
operator assumed that since the call originated in Collette's stateroom that
it was Collette making the call. "Hi," I said, not bothering to correct
the operator. "I'd like to speak to the captain, please."
"Right away,
sir." She corrected herself.
The phone rang
and the captain came on the line, "captain."
"Hi, captain," I
began. "Mistress Collette has requested that you make the arrangements
to take care of our guests."
"I'll get it
done," he said. "I will arrange a meeting for tomorrow evening."
The last word was spoken with a questioning tone.
"That should be
fine." I thanked him and hung up the phone. I reported to Collette that
the captain would arrange a meeting for tomorrow evening and she agreed.
Collette undressed and made her way to the
bathroom. I heard the shower start and with a smile I stripped and
joined her. She smiled at me. I grabbed the soap from her hand
and slowly I lathered her naked body. I bathed her and she purred.
The water fell over our bodies, hot and steamy and comfortable. I
rubbed her pussy with my hands and her legs parted softly. She
gripped my shoulders and pushed me to my knees.
I sank down and
replaced my hand with my tongue. I lapped at her moist sex, the water of
the shower spilling over my body and into my eyes. I shut my eyes
and continued pleasuring her with my tongue. Collette fell back against
the shower wall and spread her legs every wider.
I lapped at her
sex forcefully, my tongue sinking into the moist confines of her pussy.
She gasped and moaned and gripped my hair, holding me against her sex.
She held me against her and as my tongue continued its pleasuring
ministrations, she came loudly, bucking against my face. She
screamed and hitched and sank even lower against the tiled wall.
"Yummy," she said.
I stood up and
smiled down at her.
"It's been a long
day."
"Yes," I agreed.
"I'm going to
bed." She yawned then and climbed to her feet. She turned the
water off and the two of us dried off. We padded into the bedroom
and climbed under the covers.
We were asleep in
minutes.
